For many years, I have been interested to know my European roots. My imagination has been stirred considering who my Germanic relatives might be on my father's side, or where in England, Ireland, and Scotland my mother's kin originated.
Not until recently did I begin searching through microfilm at the Mid-Continent Library in Independence, Missouri. The compilation on this website is just a mere beginning with what I hope to post in time. I hope to enlarge my findings significantly with further research of U.S. censuses, immigration records, and birth/death certificates.
